Wolf is a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. mod Smash Remix. He was added into the mod in its v0.9.7 release on May 11, 2021.

Mahito Ōba reprises his role as Wolf through archived audio from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Victory poses

• Performs two alternating slashes and then a wheel kick. (Also his CSS animation.)
• Raises his right hand towards his face, then swings out his left arm while raising his right, assuming a martial arts stance.
• While facing away from the camera, Wolf raises his right arm. He then turns quickly toward the camera, gesturing towards the screen.

In Remix Modes

Remix 1P Mode

Wolf can appear as an ordinary opponent, giant opponent, or as a multi-man team, where he is fought on Venom (or Corneria City prior to its removal in v2.0.0).

All-Star Mode

In All-Star Mode, Wolf and his allies can appear on Corneria (or Corneria City prior to its removal in v2.0.0).

Profile

Wolf, leader of the Star Wolf team, was hired by Andross during the Lylat Wars to take out the Star Fox team. After meeting defeat on Fichina, Bolse, and Venom, and witnessing the fall of Andross to Star Fox, Wolf and his team fled and resumed the life of mercenaries.

• Red: Has a slightly pinkish tint, which makes him loosely resemble Pigma Dengar as he appears in Star Fox 64.
• Blue: Based on Wolf's appearance in Brawl, which itself resembled his appearance in Star Fox Assault.
• Green: Loosely resembles Leon Powalski as he appears in Star Fox 64.
• Black: Based on Wolf's black costume in Ultimate, which itself resembled his appearance in Star Fox 2.
• Purple: Based on Wolf's appearance in Ultimate.
• Yellow : Loosely resembles Andrew Oikonny as he appears in Star Fox 64.

Trivia

• Wolf's portrait on the character selection screen is based on his talking portrait from Star Fox 64.
• Wolf's intro tagline "Wolf Joins The Pack!!!" is a reference to what a group of wolves is called: packs. It's also a reference to "Wolf Pack", an alternate name for Star Wolf, evident by what he says when he activates his Final Smash in Ultimate.
  • Wolf was also the first character added to Remix to have a unique, non-generic intro tagline.
