Trivia[edit]

  • The artwork used for Nightmare's spirit has never been publicly released prior to Ultimate. Based on the design and art style, it is presumably concept art from Metroid: Other M.
  • The artwork used for the Geemer spirit is actually identified as a Zoomer in the English translation of the Metroid: Zero Mission manual. It should be noted that "Geemer" and "Zoomer" are alternate translations of the same enemy name (ギーマー), although the Metroid Prime series established Geemers and Zoomers as two separate but closely-related species.
  • Prior to Ultimate, "Mecha Ridley" was an unofficial translation of Ridley Robot's Japanese name, which became popular enough as a nickname that it often was interchangeably used with the official name.
  • The Samus (Metroid Dread) and E.M.M.I. spirits are the only DLC spirits to be available through amiibo, with their compatibility being in an update.
