Sword Primids (ソードプリム, Sword Prim), are similar to regular Primids, the primary difference being that the Sword Primid wields a Beam Sword (though unlike the Beam Sword available to use by the Smash characters, this Beam sword is green instead of blue). When compared to normal Primids, they have the same appearance and have good, fast mobility as well. Though Sword Primids have slightly more health, and a different moveset consisting of use of their Beam Sword.

Sword Primids generally attack by slashing with their Beam Sword. Their moveset consists of multiple sword swings that can sting together long attack combos, a dash attack, charged stabs, and the jump attacks that regular Primids use. While their attacks deal very low knockback, they deal moderate damage with very long reach, and have low start-up and ending lag. They also have the ability to reflect projectiles with their sword for 1.1x damage, though this is usually only used if the player is camping.

Sword Primids pose a larger threat than regular Primids, as while they are generally incapable of KOing, even on intense difficulty, their fast, long reaching attacks are usually difficult to avoid and allow them to rack up damage on the player quickly, setting them up to be KO'd by stronger enemies. Like regular Primids, they have good mobility, and appear in large numbers. A group of Sword Primids can bring a player to over 100% in damage in a short amount of time on intense difficulty. Sword Primids are offset however, by their low KO power and their low health, as they can often be taken out in a couple of hits, or by a single strong attack.

Likely as a result of using a sword, Sword Primids are the only Primids that are not weak to slash attacks (in fact, they resist them).

Sword Primid
A Primid with a sword, as the name suggests. A Sword Primid will generally attack with slashes, but that's not all! It'll also make charging stabs at you, so watch out even when you're a good distance away. It might just be because of the way its sword lights up, but doesn't it remind you of a tarmac worker at an airport?

Trivia[edit]

  • A Sword Primid's dashing combo attack has an SDI multiplier of either 5 or 6 (depending on the slash), higher than any other known attack in the game - but with a freeze frames multiplier of 0.1x, this is very difficult to actually utilize.
