Trivia

  • While not available in-game, "Hikari -KINGDOM Orchestra Instrumental Version-" from the original Kingdom Hearts is used in Sora's reveal trailer. The song is often also known overseas as "Simple and Clean".
  • Kingdom Hearts is the only series to feature a music track that can only be unlocked if the player has save data from another game, namely Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.
  • Kingdom Hearts is the second DLC universe introduced in Ultimate to not have any remixes, the first being Dragon Quest. Unlike Dragon Quest however, Sora's victory theme is a new arrangement rather than also being directly sourced.
  • Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is the second of two games released in the 2020s to be represented in Smash via music, with the first being Minecraft Dungeons.
  • Kingdom Hearts and Minecraft are the only major series in Ultimate where all songs featured are named identically in both English and Japanese. All songs from Sonic The Hedgehog, Street Fighter, and Tekken are listed in English even in the Japanese version, but the exact names vary.
