King Dedede will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. He was announced on January 10, 2014 to commemorate the release of Kirby: Triple Deluxe in Japan. Dedede appears to have a more cartoonish appearance in Smash 4 than he did in Brawl, looking reminiscent of his appearance in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime. His model also appears to be sporting a graphical effect that accentuates the fuzz on his robes and crown.
