Battle of BC 8 is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate event held in Vancouver, British Columbia from Jun 5th-7th, 2026.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
Unlike previous years, where Battle of BC was considered a solid major or supermajor, this year's event saw less entrants and top-level talent, with only 3 Japanese players featured as non-North American talent. Head organizer Dhir attributed the smaller size to a delay in approving the tournament's Ultimate license, top players requesting tough accommodations, and the effects of real life events, such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2026 Iran war.[1]
