- Although not present in the actual game, 'Opening - Bombing Mission', the opening theme of Final Fantasy VII, plays at the beginning of Cloud's trailer and the recurring Chocobo theme ("Electric de Chocobo" from FFVII) plays during the Chocobo Hat's introduction in the Wave 5 Mii costume trailer.
- 'Opening - Bombing Mission' would eventually appear in the next game as part of Challenger Pack 9, albeit as a remix.
