Trivia

  • Banjo-Kazooie is the first franchise where a non-Japanese musician arranged a theme.[2] Coincidentally, it was immediately followed by Undertale in the same time frame.
    • Series composer Grant Kirkhope was first hinted about the prospect of Banjo and Kazooie in Super Smash Bros. when Davide Soliani, creative director of the Switch-exclusive Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (which Kirkhope also composed for), emailed him asking for his contact information on behalf of Nintendo. Kirkhope was initially skeptical, but accepted the offer anyway; upon learning that he was being asked to arrange music for Banjo and Kazooie's appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he was incredibly excited to return to the characters.[3]
