The Bytan is an enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode. It multiplies quickly, forcing the player to destroy it quickly before it gets out of hand. The Bytan comes in 8 different colors. They look like Poké Balls or Electrodes. If you want to capture or turn a Bytan into a trophy, just weaken it as regular and throw the trophy stand.
There is also a subspecies called Giant Bytan, which is about 4x larger and has roughly 3x more health. When one throws a Trophy Stand at these Giant Bytan, it will still appear as regular Bytan trophy.
