The Bytan is an enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode. It multiplies quickly, forcing the player to destroy it quickly before it gets out of hand. The Bytan comes in 8 different colors. They look like Poké Balls or Electrodes.
There is also a subspecies called Giant Bytan, which is about 4x larger and has roughly 3x more health.
