Congo Jungle is a stage in Super Smash Bros.. It is Donkey Kong's home stage. Congo Jungle is also known as Past Stages: Kongo Jungle in Super Smash Bros. Melee and is one of the three past stages that can be unlocked. To unlock this stage, the player must beat 15-minute Melee. It is based on various levels from Donkey Kong Country.

Congo Jungle

This stage appears as a starter stage in Super Smash Bros. This stage is made up of a big platform with a couple of small platforms on it. The top left and right sides of the stage are small and can be used to battle on. In the middle of the stage there are two platforms that move in a clockwise motion. Under the stage there is a Barrel Cannon that is similar to the one in the Super Smash Bros. Melee stage Kongo Jungle. If a player manages to get into the barrel, make sure the arrow on the barrel is pointing up. If the player stays in it for too long, the barrel will shoot them in the direction the arrow is pointing. This stage is a legal stage in SSB. This stage has five platforms. One main platform that has a large slanted indent and that can be passed through from below. Two stationary platforms at the top left and right corners that are slanted and two flat moving platforms in the center that move around each other in a square. The two slants on the main platform can be perfect for making angled shots with the Super Scope.

One unique trait about the stage is that characters can jump through the main stage platform, but cannot fall through it.

Past Stages: Kongo Jungle

The Congo Jungle Stage is reused in Super Smash Bros. Melee as an unlockable stage under this name. It is a non-neutral legal stage in SSBM.
