A Poppant is an enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode. Poppant's trousers are full of presents and candy. They are cowardly, and run away from the player, scattering objects in their wake. These objects will hurt the player if they hit him, making the Poppant difficult to chase down. They can also drop weak random items. If defeated, Poppants will usually drop Maxim Tomatoes or Food. To turn a Poppant into a trophy, they do not require weakening, throw your Trophy Stand before it can spot you.
