Downloadable content (SSBU)/List of Spirits with DLC changes

During the development of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, several characters that were originally spirits received further content in the form of downloadable Mii Costumes and music tracks. As such, by purchasing and downloading this extra content, certain spirits associated with these will change to include theses additions. Below is a list of all spirits affected by this rule.

Trivia

• Prior to version 8.0.0, the Ryo Sakazaki spirit battle did not use the Mii Costume, even if it was downloaded.
• Although there are corresponding Mii outfits, some spirit battles have not been changed. These include the Tails, MegaMan.EXE, Zero, X, Rex, Squid Sisters, Veronica (in Hero's Comrades spirit), Bomberman, Akira, Iori Yagami, Nakoruru, and Geno battles.
• So far, only the DLC spirit battles will change. Although Ninjara is not a DLC spirit, his spirit battle is only in DLC spirit board.
