Applied stickers can be moved around, but removing one discards it permanently (though they can be regained through playing). Stickers are a collectible item in SSBB, similar to Melee's Trophies. They can be added to a background and made into a collage. According to the update in which they were confirmed, they will be easier to obtain than Trophies. One known way to obtain stickers is by grabbing them as items.
