Mites are small, yellow, red, or green stick-figure creatures that are part of the Subspace Army in the Adventure Mode of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. They are spawned en masse from glowing purple portals. They are easy to defeat on their own, but are dangerous in the high numbers they spawn in. Their heads resemble the Subspace logo.
