This is the list of known changes in version 1.1.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Universal

  • Bug fix Fixed a glitch causing throws in Training Mode to gradually reduce knockback taken by the victim if the Fixed Damage option was turned on, even to the point of them taking no knockback.
  • Change The AI for various characters has been adjusted.
  • Change The short hop aerial multiplier is now correctly applied to fighters with more than one midair jump.

Kirby

  • Buff Up aerial has less ending lag (FAF 40 → 38).
  • Change The animation for Final Cutter has been adjusted.

Luigi

  • Buff Up aerial has less ending lag (FAF 30 → 27).

Peach

  • Nerf Dash attack has reduced knockback scaling (140 → 130).

Daisy

  • Nerf Dash attack has reduced knockback scaling (140 → 130).
  • Change The animation for Toad has been adjusted.

Bowser

  • Change Flying Slam's custom acceleration stats for both Bowser and the opponent were slightly altered, replacing the Smash 4 stats that were still in use.
    • Buff Bowser's base acceleration per frame during the tug-o-war has increased (0.21 → 0.2235).
    • Buff Bowser's reduction per % of the base acceleration during the tug-o-war has decreased (0.00075 → 0.0005).
    • Buff Opponent's lowest guaranteed acceleration per frame during the tug-o-war has decreased (0.03 → 0.024).
    • Nerf Opponent's base acceleration per frame during the tug-o-war has increased (0.19 → 0.22).
    • Nerf Opponent's reduction per % of the base acceleration during the tug-o-war has decreased (0.00075 → 0.0007).

Dr. Mario

  • Buff The reflection damage multiplier for Super Sheet has been increased (1.5x → 1.6x).

Marth

  • Change The animation for swinging with a battering item has been adjusted.

Lucina

  • Change The animation for swinging with a battering item has been adjusted.

Mewtwo

  • Nerf Disable has more ending lag (FAF 47 → 52).

Dark Pit

  • Nerf Up throw has more ending lag (FAF 33 → 38), making it identical to Pit's.

Meta Knight

  • Nerf Dash attack has more ending lag (FAF 32 → 33).

Sonic

  • Change The animation for crouching when holding an item has been adjusted.
  • Change The animation for swinging with a battering weapon has been adjusted.

Wii Fit Trainer

  • Buff Dash attack has less ending lag (FAF 43 → 39).
  • Buff Header's soccer ball travels more quickly when headed (2.8 → 3.5).

Mii Swordfighter

  • Nerf Gale Strike has significantly less range (sustained frames 100 → 52), now travelling about half as far.
    • Buff However it travels faster (speed 0.55 → 0.65).
  • Nerf Chakram has significantly less range (sustained frames 45 → 23), now travelling about half as far.
  • Buff Shuriken of Light has significantly more range (sustained frames 30 → 48).

Shulk

  • Change The second victory pose's animation has been adjusted.

Bowser Jr.

  • Buff Abandon Ship! has more super armor frames, but they start later (frames 2-25 → 3-30).
  • Nerf After using Abandon Ship!, Bowser Jr. can no longer air dodge more than once.
  • Nerf When using Clown Kart Dash to collide into a wall, Bowser Jr. descends instead of ascends. This removes its ability to stall an opponent.

Bayonetta

  • Nerf Witch Time's duration scaling is lower (40 → 30).
  • Nerf Witch Time's regeneration per frame is slower (0.04 → 0.03).
  • Bug introduced A glitch with Witch Time has been created, with its slowdown duration now being capable of underflowing and becoming extremely long under certain circumstances.

Inkling

  • Buff Splat Bomb deals more damage (8%-14% → 9%-15%).
  • Buff Splat Bomb applies more ink (80/140 → 110/170).

Ridley

Incineroar

  • Change The animations for idling, walking, running, landing, crouching with an item equipped and shielding have been adjusted.
  • Change The animations for side taunt and down taunt when facing the right have been adjusted.
