Meloetta (メロエッタ, Meroetta) is a fictional creature from the Pokémon universe. Meloetta is a Poké Ball and Master Ball summon in Super Smash Bros. 4. When summoned, it creates projectiles that bounce around the stage and reflect off of terrain. In the 3DS version, it will not appear until having played the game for over eight hours.

Origin

Meloetta is a mythical Pokémon, a legendary available exclusively from events, introduced in Generation V. It has two formes, both of which represent various interpretive arts: Aria (which represents song) and Pirouette (which represents dance). It is Normal/Psychic under Aria Forme and Normal/Fighting under Pirouette Forme. It can switch between formes using its signature move Relic Song, which has to be taught via a special tutor. It appears in its Aria Forme in the Smash games.
