Koffing (ドガース, Dogāsu, Dogars in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise. It evolves into Weezing, who replaces it in Melee.

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

Koffing is one of 13 Pokémon that can come out of a Poké Ball in this game. It uses Poison Gas as its attack. Koffing releases gas from the pores on its body. Any character, other than the summoner, who touches the gas will take damage, and if he/she is very close to Koffing, he/she will be trapped until Koffing disappears.

Koffing's evolved form, Weezing, replaces it as the same type of attacking Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
