Spirit Train is a stage in the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. 4. The stage is based upon the Spirit Train in Nintendo DS title The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, which is travelling through New Hyrule.

Overview

The battle takes place upon the Spirit Train, which is moving forwards during gameplay. It is assumed that characters would be left behind if they stood on the train tracks, similarly to the road in Big Blue, but this has not been shown.

Characters can fight inside the carriage of the train. The roof of the carriage is a soft platform. The train is also towing another platform behind it. It has yet to be seen if players can stand on the train itself, though the train is being driven by Toon Link, in his Spirit Tracks appearance. Toon Link stands in the background, and does not interact with the fighters.
