• Simon and Richter are the only characters that wield an explosive object (their Holy Water bottles, though technically not a device) to not appear in this tournament.
• Mr. Game & Watch also did not appear in this tournament despite wielding a bomb in his moveset, though this is due to it being part of his forward aerial, rather than a special move.
