Super Smash Bros. Melee is the sequel to Super Smash Bros. and was released for Nintendo GameCube. It is a fighting game with many Nintendo characters and stages. SSBM mainly focuses on multiplayer modes but has several single player modes. SSBM has become the best selling game for GameCube which makes it extremely populer.

There are twenty-five playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
