The 2014 SSBMRank listed the world's top 100 Super Smash Bros. Melee smashers, as compiled by Melee It On Me. To be listed, a player had to attend at least one tournament in the United States in 2014 to allow easier judgement of players' skills compared to other players; as a result, some top international players from the 2013 SSBMRank were dropped from the ranking as a result of this; they were Overtriforce, Gucci, and Strawhat Dahean. Certain players were also overlooked by accident, the most notable example being top British player Professor Pro, who defeated ranked players such as Kels and Fuzzyness throughout his 2014 career. Players who were ranked in 2013 became inactive and as such were not considered include Unknown522, Jman, Taj, Bob$. Other players who dropped out of the rankings since the previous year were: Blunted_Object10, Bam, Sung666, Sion, G$, Phil, Kounotori, Stab, and Vist.
