I edit over at Wikipedia under the same username here, and I also do heavy editing at the Golden Sun wikia with my userpage here.

My interest in editing this site is to fill it up with the "casual data" that non-tournament smashers play with, such as working with the Event Match pages, all the trophy pages, and the various universe pages behind the characters and items seen in Smash - stuff you see in the official guides for the games. I don't know anything valuable about the metagame, with all its tournaments, celebrity players, advanced techniques, and all that, so I'd rather let the other users handle that.

I very recently got into the crazy wacky world of Action Replay for Melee. Prior to that, my Melee credentials included the following more hardcore achievements, all without the help of any Action Replay:

  • I have collected all 290 non-AR trophies
  • I have beaten Event match 51 without losing a life.
  • I have beaten Classic mode on Very Hard
  • I have beaten Adventure mode on Very Hard
  • I have beaten All-Star mode on Very Hard. Took forever, but I pulled it off with Roy on April 13, 2007.

My anticipation for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl can best be described as obsessive, bordering on insane, and perhaps... psychotic. Brawl will be the One Game, the last game any individual will ever need to buy and play; there will be no need to buy any other game from any company, and there will likewise be no need for any company to develop another game after Brawl's release. Once Erik the appreciator has played Brawl, he will no longer be afraid of Death itself, for he will have been fulfilled. Watch your backs now, folks. :O

All About Erik (AAE)

As a person, I'll admit that I'm quite different from a lot of people you'd see on the Internet. I'm totally a Type-B personality; I'm just consistently relaxed, collected, non-aggressive and non-confrontational, and in fact quite lazy and prone to procrastination in real life. On any Wiki-based project, you have my word that I'll never use a cross word against someone in the personal attack sense, such as calling someone dumb, let alone calling someone a dumbshit. And I think I can give you my word that I always look for ways to collaborate with others I might be disagreeing with. I doubt you'll ever see me outright angry over how an article's content should be structured or something like that, because all the reasons I can imagine getting angry over something like that would have to include some elements of my asserting a level of ownership over the article, which violates Wikipedia policy. (I haven't actually read most of Wikipedia's policy pages thoroughly through, but I've been around for years and seem to know it from other policymonger users.)

I think I could theoretically deal with an abusive user on my talk page for literal years, and only respond civilly and sensibly. This would actually be a tactic on my part; people who are aggressive and abrasive tend to look silly in the eyes of many and usually don't become so popular, so I just gotta keep on being the model of easiness-to-work-with to get my enemy into his downfall. ^_^ This is not to say I try to be overly friendly either... The point is that I don't think you should ever assume bad faith on my part whenever I'm doing stuff at any Wiki. If you see me in any instance where I'm violating any of what I said above, I'd appreciate it if you notified me on my talk page.

That said, there are things that cause me to feel bitter towards whoever might be causing them. When the subject's about something that's supposed to be entertaining and/or relaxing, like a Nintendo videogame, I don't like seeing pompous comments that are intentionally inflammatory to certain fans, at least those types of comments that aren't well thought out. And I don't like similarly inflammatory rants that make everything about some particular thing sound awful when it itsn't. But these aren't actually pet peeves of mine - people's pet peeves tend to make me edgy too - so it's not like I'll be overly unreasonable.

Past and Current Activities

You may view me as I view myself on SmashWiki: The Master of the Universe. MWAHAHA!!! The main reason being that between January and May of 2007 I underwent an epic editing project for the site, creating 95% of the content of every single Universe article in the below template (which I also made):

My next personal project for the site is to do essentially the same thing with all the characters in their general namespace. I would make general articles about the characters themselves in the style of Universe pages, separate from and linking to their respective ((SSB)), (SSBM), and (SSBB) pages, and are where the trophies strictly about them are detailed. They're like giant fancy disambig pages and should be a major improvement in the site's structure. My focuses are as follows (Bolded pages are complete, whether by myself or other users):

Mario, Donkey Kong, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Peach, Dr.Mario, Wario, Link, Zelda, Sheik, Young Link, Ganondorf, Samus, Kirby, Meta Knight, Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Mewtwo, Captain Falcon, Ness, Ice Climbers, Marth, Roy, Mr. Game and Watch, Pit, Solid Snake;

Here's the other pages I've had a major influence on:
