Chef Kawasaki is a character from the Kirby franchise. He's a cook.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Chef Kawasaki appeared as a sticker. When equipped, he would give +20 launch resistance to anyone.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Chef Kawasaki appeared as an Assist Trophy. When summoned, he would catch nearby enemies and food and place them in a pot to cook, similar to Cook Kirby. When finished, the opponent is thrown out and Kawasaki presents food to the player.
Origin
Chef Kawasaki is a cook in the Kirby franchise. In his appearance in Kirby Super Star, he was a mid-level boss who used pans in an attempt to cook Kirby. Once defeated, Chef Kawasaki grants Kirby the Cook ability], which is what his attack is based off of.
Also interesting to note is that, in Kirby Star Allies, when Chef Kawasaki is recruited, he attacks using Cook Kirby's ability and is designed almost like how he is in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
