Boss Galaga (ボス・ギャラガ, Bosu Gyaraga) are the strongest of the main enemies in the Galaga series by Namco. They appear in Super Smash Bros. 4 as items. If a player gets caught by its tractor beam, they will be taken to the top of the screen and over the upper blast line, similarly to the Beetle if the player doesn't mash buttons to escape. Unlike the Beetle, Boss Galaga will fly to the top of the screen when thrown, then fly in formation as it did in its home series.
