Steve (スティーブ, Steve) is the default skin in Minecraft, the best-selling game in the world.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In the October 1st presentation, Steve was revealed to be the next fighter, with more information to be revealed prior to Minecraft Live 2020. He is currently the fifth third-party DLC character added into the game. His appearance and animations appear identical to his iteration in the original Minecraft, with the ability to place blocks, mine for materials, and use items from within the game. His Final Smash is a giant Piston which smashes players into a stone brick house, with Creepers blowing up the house while Steve eats a piece of steak.

• Steve is the fifth foreign-created fighter in Smash, having been created by Swedish developer Mojang Studios.
• Steve is the first playable character in Smash history to come from an indie (independent-developed) game.
• Prior to Steve's inclusion, characters from Mario, Pac-Man, Final Fantasy, and Banjo-Kazooie have appeared as official skins in the Bedrock version of Minecraft.
• Steve is the second playable character in Smash to have debuted on a home computer platform, following Solid Snake.

-the intro part where mario get blown up by creepers may be a refence to the creeper aw man meme. -His final smash references the opening part as well. -The stage seems to be a villager town with farms. -Their down smash goes against the fact that a bucket can only be poured once. -His down tilt cooking the food,is refence the fact you can cook food with fire in mincraft(DUH) -The charcter seesm to take its moveset from a workshop character in rivals aether steve. -And plays in a similar fashion to shovel knight. A DLC Character from rivals of aether. -They bulit a house over pichu(?????) -The fact that steven only uses iron to make an iron sword is worng and in fact you need 1 stick to do it. -The scene where Alex is killing a chicken is referencing the fact that chickens run away after being attacked. -Boswter chasing them in a minecart may be a homage to donkey kong cunrty mine craft sections. Or a minecart minigame from mario party(LIST GAME THE MINECART MINI GAME IS FROM I DON't knwo what game its from or what its called?) -Banjo getting killed by tnt? -The eydta flying is refencing the fact the if you use a firework on it you can fly. -The stage has live elements and a day and night cycle like minecraft, -The zombie comning out at night may be refence that fact that zombies only spawn at night. -And teh zombei droping meat is raw flese. -The zombie breaking teh door is refencing teh fact that zombies can break doors on the max difficulty in mincraft. -teh zombie chasing luigi is refencing luigis mansion. -The tiny zombie is refenceing baby zombies from minecraft -The endrman model is shorter than normal. -The endrman holding a block is refencing the fact the they can pick up blocks. -Teh endrman looking at snake is refencing how they become hostile and that teh punkin can mask you from them. -the zombies droping meat is raw fleast. -Endermen looks up in rain? -Dancing? -Teh stage has different biomes like in the game. -Battling on a stage,which has player blocks, -Stevens final smash also is refenceing the Creeper aw man meme and the trialer.
