Punch-Out!! is a series of boxing video games. The first game, simply titled Punch-Out, was released as an arcade game in 1984 and was ported to the NES in 1987 - originally as Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, but later rereleased without the endorsement, - in which Mario appeared as a referee. Two sequels have subsequently been released on Nintendo consoles - Super Punch-Out!! for the SNES in 1994, and a Wii game once again simply called Punch-Out!! in 2009. The Wii version also featured Donkey Kong as a bonus opponent.

Assist Trophy

Little Mac from the Punch-Out!! universe appears as an Assist Trophy in Brawl. When summoned he will perform a series of jabs and uppercuts, while running and jumping around the stage. While Little Mac's attacks have very high knockback and damage, Little Mac is liable to jump off of the side of the stage and self-destruct.
