Trivia

  • With the exception of Banjo & Kazooie, Mumbo Jumbo and Jiggy, all the spirits in the Banjo-Kazooie series use an original render based on their appearance on Spiral Mountain. Of the three, Mumbo Jumbo is the only one to appear on Spiral Mountain in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
  • Banjo-Kazooie is the only DLC universe in Ultimate not to have any entity that exclusively appears as a spirit.
  • Gruntilda's spirit battle is the first spirit battle in which Dr. Mario appears as a minion.
  • Gruntilda is the first DLC Legend class spirit whose effect isn't an "Other Skill" effect, but rather as a "Hazard Skill" effect.
