Character description

Ike is the only main Fire Emblem protagonist thus far to not be a noble or a prince; he is instead a mercenary serving a royal house. Aether is the name of the ultimate battle skill he learns during the game. By the game's end he has acquired an indestructible golden blade called Ragnell.

Main article: Ike (SSBB)

Ike debuts in this installment of the Smash Bros. series as a playable fighter. As a fighter, he clearly adheres to the humanoid swordsman aesthetic established in Melee by previous Fire Emblem protagonists Marth and Roy, with his sword being Ragnell. He uses his Aether skill in battle, but whether this is a B-Move or his Final Smash is currently unknown.
