APEBE, a Digital Artist and Graphic Designer who enjoys playing the Super Smash Bros. series as a Dr. Mario and Ganondorf player.

My purpose on this Wiki is to create some Tournaments' pages, mostly Regionals (especially in Latin America), and sometimes to create Smashers' pages.

"A story" series

A story: My approach to the Super Smash Bros. series

"I've never known about the franchise for a long time due to my family and friends not being big followers of the videogames as a whole -we have just seen videogames just as toys. I personally never owned a home console and just haved a green Game Boy Advance SP with a copy of Yoshi Topsy-Turvy.

But that changed on December 24th, 2017 when my parents gifted me a grey Nintendo Switch, and finally on my birthday in 2019, my family gifted me a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the first Smash game I've ever got, the rest is history."

A story: My approach to the Smash competitive scene

"At the beginning of my playtime with Ultimate in 2019 I've never seen the competitive scene for years, until in July 2024 I have started watching S Factor 11 in Winners Semi-finals Gackt Vs. SHADIC, although I didn't watch the whole Grand Finals ShinyMark Vs. Sonix (because it was taking so long) I started watching the competitive scene since, even joining to the SmashWiki on October of the same year to create Tournament and Smasher pages."

A story: Discovering my main(s)

At the beginning with my Smash game in mid 2019, I started playing Marth against my friends at High school, I was not playing properly and was spamming so much his Dancing Blade. When the pandemic started in my country in March 2020, I changed Marth to a variety of characters, starting with other Fire Emblem charcters like Ike and Roy, using heavyweights such as Donkey Kong and King K. Rool, some lightweights like Pichu, Kirby and Mr. Game & Watch, all-rounders like Mario and Pikachu.

However, in 2024, I started playing Ganondorf after I finished The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and loved his archetype and playstyle, but I wanted to main a second character to vary my playstyle against some high level players in Quickplay, so there was a character that has not made me interested to play with, Dr. Mario, when I played for the first time with him was in 2019 in High school at Random, and while I survived and had a good time, I didn't play wth him since until years later, so I started to play, and was weird yet fascinating because while he's considered one of the worst characters in the metagame, I started to have more fun with Dr. Mario compared to Mario mostly due to feeling more like a improvisation and less about trying to make combos to the sky.

Nowadays, while still playing a variety of characters, I've decided that my mains are both Ganondorf and Dr. Mario. Just for fun.

Most significant pages that I have created

(Some pages may be edited by other users on the SmashWiki later)

  • Cosmic Hive: A Mexican sponsor for the... Mexican Smashers based in Mexico City.
  • Delfino Raza: A Smash tournament held in Monterrey, Nuevo León, one of the most highlighted events in Mexico in 2025 despite not being a major or even a B+ tier in the LumiRank TTS.
  • Delfino Maza: A team of both sponsors for the Mexican players in the competitive scenes of many games, including Smash, as well as the oirganizers of the tournament series of the same name.
  • Guadalajara Power Rankings: A Smash Power Rankings compiled by the community of Jalisco.
  • Monterrey Power Rankings: A Power Rankings compiled by the community of Nuevo León.
  • North Central Mexico: A Smash region that consists of the Mexican states Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato and Querétaro. Known for having few but very notable players in the country.
  • Northeast Mexico: A Smash region that consists of the Mexican states Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas. Known for being one of the first notorious regions globally thanks by their players in the 2010s and their strong representation at the Mexican Power Rankings.
  • Northwest Mexico: Mexican states Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa and Durango. Known for the Delfino Maza tournament series, as well as Best of the West.
  • South Mexico: Chiapas, Guerrero, Morelos, and Oaxaca. While not created by me from the ground up, I filled up the whole page with more players and notable tournament, due to being one of the largest contributors of the competitive Smash scene in the country during the 2000s.
  • West Mexico: Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, and Michoacán. Known for having some very notable players in the country, as well as some very notable tournaments in both 2024 and 2025.
  • Worst of the West: A monthly Ultimate tournament series held in Tijuana, Baja California, where I created most of the pages.
  • Yucatán Peninsula: Campeche, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, and Yucatán. Despite not being very represented globally, some players made notable results in the country, as well as some tournaments featured some national or even international players before Ultimate.

Smashers' pages I created

Although I'm not very familiar or good with creating Smashers' pages, I've been interested in creating pages about these players, alongside with some notes about the creation of these pages.

  • Japan Shinda Lion Ganondorf (SSBU): The first Smasher page I created, I've seen the result of the Shibuya BeeSmash BIG 4 tournament, seeing a Ganondorf player in Top 8 got me interested in creating a page about this player and his results. Side note: Although it was not perfect being my first Smasher page, I'm so proud about it because got featured in the Ganondorf page at the Most historically significant players section.
  • Mexico Lil Mr Raul Robin (SSBU): Second Smasher page, seeing the results of his tournaments and his Head-to-Head results got me decided to create another page after doubting about creating a new one again.
  • Mexico Counter Little Mac (SSBU): Third, the same reason with Shinda Lion, although this time is because I wanted to create another page of a player with a Low/bottom tier character as a main.
  • USA Charlie D. Ness (SSBU): Fourth, I've been doubting about creating this page because he didn't make it to appear to a Top 8 in a C-above tier tournament, in the end I've decided to create because it's not neccesary to a player appear in a Top 8 to have a Smasher page, but also defeating notable or even high-level players.
  • Mexico Lubra Ice Climbers (SSBU): Fifth, [Insert an explanation here].
  • El Salvador Espinoza Greninja (SSBU)Banjo & Kazooie (SSBU): Sixth, Guh-huh (although lately he's been using more Greninja than Banjo).
  • USA Poppin Little Mac (SSBU)Dr. Mario (SSBU): Seventh, Dr. Mario is one of my favorite characters to play, and seeing Poppin's results in the last months made me want to create this Smasher's page; although Poppin is using more Little Mac than the Doc, I still wanted to create the page.
  • Canada Saloum Pokémon Trainer (SSBU): Eighth, seeing Saloum's recent results made me want to create a new Smasher Page, also I wanted to create a page from a Canadian player.
  • Mexico AxF Terry (SSBU)Hero (SSBU): Ninth, [Insert an explanation here].
  • USA Symphonies Terry (SSBU): Tenth, Seeing the recent results of this player made me want to create a new page.
  • Mexico CHOSEN Shulk (SSBU)PyraMythra (SSBU): Eleventh, [Insert an explanation here].
  • Japan mimo Ness (SSBU): Twelfth, Ness is one of those characters that I want to see him succeed, despite the Meta-game being aggressive against him, so seeing mimo's results, while not very consistent, is notable to want me create a new Smasher page.
  • Mexico Dr.Eddy Dr. Mario (SSBU): Thirteenth, to be honest, I wanted to create a new Dr. Mario Smash player, and seeing Eddy's notable wins over high level players in Jalisco made me want to do it.
  • Mexico MaZo Meta Knight (SSBU): Fourteenth, seeing MaZo's results and Head-to-Head to other high level players online made me want to create a new Smasher page.
  • Mexico Nimrod Wario (SSBU): Fifteenth, [Insert an explanation here].
  • Mexico cu4dr0 Lucas (SSBU): Sixteenth, [Insert an explanation here].
  • Mexico LAO9 Inkling (SSBU): Seventeenth, [Insert an explanation here].
  • Mexico Mercurio Isabelle (SSBU)Pokémon Trainer (SSBU): Eighteenth, made me want to create a new page about a Isabelle player after seeing Mercurio's results, though not very notable, he's a very active mexican player.
  • Mexico Raul Pokémon Trainer (SSBU)PyraMythra (SSBU): Nineteenth, after seeing Raul appearing in the Mexican Power Rankings made me wonder about his results and made me want to create a new page. That's it.
  • USA KoolK Banjo & Kazooie (SSBU): Twentieth, although the Wi-Fi scene isn't as big or important to the competitive scene, sometimes it can be impressive seeing Low/Bottom-tier characters having success, and after watching KoolK's victories over Top tier players, though not my first, made me want to create a Wi-Fi warrior.
  • Japan YI Kirby (SSBU): Twenty-first, after an impressive breakout performance at Umebura SP 12, made me interested in creating a new page from a Japanese player (even though it is common seeing biggest upsets in Japanese tournaments).
  • Canada elote Captain Falcon (SSBU): Twenty-second, [Insert an explanation here].
  • Mexico Evil M. Sheik (SSBU)Link (SSBU): Twenty-third, [Insert an explanation here].
  • USA SmashBros! Lucas (SSBU): Twenty-fourth, [Insert an explanation here].
  • Mexico BigThor Marth (SSBM): Twenty-fifth, It made me interesed in creating a Melee player for the first time, and I've decided to create this one due to his wins over Top level mexican melee players.
  • Mexico DPMZ Marth (SSBM): Twenty-sixth, [Insert an explanation here].
  • Mexico ESPONJA Fox (SSBM): Twenty-seventh, [Insert an explanation here].
  • USA StarZ Cloud (SSBU): Twenty-eighth, After StarZ's breakout performance in Luminosity Makes Moves Miami 2025, I wanted to create the StarZ's page.
  • Mexico ChinoMx Luigi (SSBM): Twenty-ninth, [Insert an explanation here].

Maybe I create another Smasher page, or maybe not, who knows.

Drafts

These are draft pages of Smash players that maybe I'd create a new one based on, but at this moment are just only for placeholders in case if I want to create.

Approach to other series thanks to Smash

"I (and many others) have approached to others series that I've never heard of, but thanks to the Smash series I played other games."

Dr. Mario World

I was very bad with Dr. Mario when I played for the first time, especially with the recovery. But one day I've decided to play more with him against CPUs and in World of Light, and after watching guides and tutorials on YouTube about how to play with him now he is one my favorite characters to play.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

First wasn't very good with him due to his slowness in his mobility and his attacks, but over time I got better and better with Ganondorf, and after I played The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (the first new Zelda game I played for the first time ever since I didn't any of the other games), I wanted to play with him more and more. Nowadays he is one of my favorite characters to play.

EarthBound

Earthbound Beginnings

Like many people, I've never known the existence of the Earthbound series a for long time because I didn't have Internet until 2014-2015, and since then I've watched some videos on YouTube where I met the series, but I did not played the character nor the games until I got Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on my birthday in 2019, where I played with him for the first time ever... I didn't know how to play properly and I dropped the character for a while. However, in 2022, Nintendo released Earthbound and EarthBound Beginnings on Nintendo Switch Online, and finally play the games, and thanks to that, Ness has become my second favorite character ever (behind Luigi) and I've learned how to play with him in Smash (Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate). Now I can play with Ness properly, though sometimes I can fail with my recovery.
Banjo & Kazooie SSBU.png

Banjo (SSBU)
Banjo & Kazooie
Banjo-Kazooie I didn't know the Rareware games (or even the company at all) until I got the XBOX 360 and played a Demo of Banjo-Kazooie in ~2016. When Banjo & Kazooie were revealed at E3 2019, I was hyped to play with him a the beginning, but when finally came out the DLC, I wasn't very comfortable with their playstyle and their game design. But over time I've got better, and since I've started watcing Toriguri I wanted to play more with Banjo. Right now I'm good playing him but I still need to learn.

Like many others, I played World of Light when I got the game, and of course Kirby was my go-to character, when I stared to play other characters Kirby was still my character to play casually and sometimes Online. Right now I play with him when I want to, but he's not my priority at this moment.

He's my favorite character of all time, since I played Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, and when I've got Super Smash Bros Ultimate, I wanted to play with Luigi first. At the beginning I didn't know how to play him porperly and today I still don't, but it's mostly because I don't want to practice the "Zero to Death" combos, but sometimes I play with him Online.

Fatal Fury 2 Even though I'm a mexican, I didn't play any of The King of Fighters games (but I played Metal Slug 3), so when Terry was announced at the Nintendo Direct of September 2019 I didn't know much about him, but it doesn't matter because he's one of my favorite characters to play casually, and his stage is my favorite to play in casuals too. Right now I don't play so much with him.

Minecraft

Minecraft Dungeons

I played Minecraft since 2013, and when the DLC of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was still around, I wondered if Minecraft had a chance to be on the game (Even if it was a playable character, a Mii costume, or just some spirits), and when Steve was revealed in October 2020 I was very exited to play with him. Nowadays I play with him occasionally and I'm good to play with him, although it's a bit sad about what's happening to him competitively.
