S Factor X3 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee regional, Super Smash Bros. superregional and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor tournaments held in Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, Puebla, from July 18th-19th, 2026.
Tournament summary[edit]
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
Before the event began, #2 seed Sonix would unfortunately DQed due to flight issues. The biggest upsets of the event came early from #537 Ken player Morenito (smurfing under Âdr's tag) on 25 seed ApolloKage and 32 seed Guilheww for upset factor 9. #8 seed Asimo would also be upset by #57 seed Javi right before winner's top 64 for an upset factor of 6, before being double eliminated by Javi in losers. #13 seed crêpe salée would lose to Ryuoh before getting upset by #50 seed Beastly for 25th, falling to two Diddy Kong players. Yaura's hot streak would also fall short at this event, losing to Ouch!? for 13th. However, the other top 8 seeds would make it into top 8 safely, with Shuton being the sole representative for Japan in top 8.
The players who met in Grand Finals both had standout performances at this event. Sisqui achieved the best performance of his career at this event, with many players noting how it coincided with Spain's victory at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Sisqui first defeated Light 3-1 to make top 8, where he then beat his European rival Glutonny 3-0 and Sparg0 3-1 for the first time in his career to enter his first supermajor Grand Finals. However, this event is best known for snapping a 2 year long loss streak for MkLeo at major events. After falling to Glutonny in top 16, MkLeo went on a 5-set comeback to reach Grand Finals, defeating long-time rivals Shuton and Sparg0, and eliminating 4 out of the top 10 along the way. MKLeo made quick work of Sisqui, who he also defeated in the pre-local, dropping only one game in the the reset and winning the tournament. With this win, MKLeo tied up the difference in all-time major wins with acola, with both sitting at 25 undisputed major victories. Furthermore this broke a 3 and a half year long dry spell of not making supermajor grand finals for Leo, with his last appearance being at GENESIS 9.
Outside of those events, Tweek was eliminated at 7th place in a game 5 set by Shuton, marking the latter's second victory over his bracket demon.
