List of major tournaments (SSB)

NOTE: Do not add tournaments that are upcoming or ongoing.

Even factoring in the lower standards of Smash 64, there's way too many tourneys listed here with subpar or outright abysmal attendance numbers, that at a glance don't look like they merit the "major" categorization at all. The following is a list of all Super Smash Bros. major and supermajor tournaments that have happened to date. A list of largest Smash 64 tournaments is also available. Note that only singles tournaments are recorded and online tournaments are not considered.
