This article is about an attack effect in Brawl and Ultimate. For the item in SSB4, see Grass (Item).
Razor Leaf in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Ivysaur's Razor Leaf is a grass attack.

There are a few attacks in the Smash Bros. series that have the grass effect. In Brawl, grass attacks deal 110% knockback to Squirtle and 90% knockback to Charizard. They use the visual effects of a slash attack, but otherwise they have no special characteristics. The only playable characters that can use grass attacks are Ivysaur and Kirby (by copying Ivysaur).

Interestingly, grass attacks are considered almost equivalent to slash attacks in the Subspace Emissary, in the sense that almost all enemies which resist slash attacks also resist grass ones by the same amount (Primids being the exception). There are no enemies that are weaker to grass attacks than other attacks.
