Obliviate (known as collision_attr_death in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's code) is an attack effect introduced in Super Smash Bros. 4 and was initially exclusively used by Ornes but was later used by a few other instant KO sources. True to its name, a character hit by an attack with the effect will be instantly KO'd and vanish on the spot. Invincibility and intangibility are immune to obliviate for their duration. It is also applied to the "hurt" terrain.

Trivia[edit]
- Despite having similar properties, neither Infernal Climax nor the Danger Zones use this effect, with the former's effect being unique as well.
- While Danger Zones use the terrain that uses this effect, the instant KO properties are overwritten.
