The Sliding Box is an item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is similar to a Crate with wheels on the bottom, allowing it to roll down hills. Like Crates and Barrels, Sliding Boxes will change their appearance based on the stage they're in. A certain screenshot makes it seem as if Pikachu is riding on top of the box.[1] Whether this was an odd camera angle or an actual feature of the item is unknown.

It is unknown whether Sliding Boxes are separate items or a variant on the Crate that sometimes appears when Crates are activated, though Super Smash Bros. Dojo!! made it sound somewhat more like they would be separate items.
