  5. Sonic has much better mobility and slightly better KO moves, but Samus isn't too far behind in the latter field, and her projectile game mitigates her problems in the former.   9. I hate sonic in brawl. His moves were boring,weak and cheap. But samus has much more to show for.   4. Sonic is an instantly recognizable popculture icon. Samus, while popular with the gaming crowd, is not nearly as iconic or recognizable as the Blue Blur. Sob... I can't vote between them! So putting this here instead (sorry). I love them both!!! Samus is the awesome super-woman with super-armor that saves everyone time and again and some of my favorite games (and my best character), and Sonic is my childhood hero and some of my favorite games (and ties for my 2nd best character). Oh, and since you all insist on forgetting, Samus can run about as fast as Sonic a la Speed Boost, though not in Smash (Wish we could Shinespark in Smash as well).
