In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, 717 music tracks are available from the start, while 159 others become available by completing Challenges, progressing in World of Light, completing Classic Mode or purchasing from the Shop. Additionally, 182 more music tracks are available as DLC.

Challenges

Track How to unlock
Battle! (Wild Pokémon) - Pokémon Diamond / Pokémon Pearl [Classic Mode] KO fighters from Pokémon 20 times.
Duty (Ablaze) [Smash] As Robin, use a flurry attack to KO a Lv. 9 CPU in a 2-player battle. This must be done within 3 minutes, with spirits off, and without handicaps.
Minor Circuit [Adventure] Unlock the Gym.
Calling to the Night [Classic Mode] As Snake, clear intensity 5.0 without using any continues.
Mega Man Retro Medley [Classic Mode] As Mega Man, clear Classic Mode.
Namco Arcade '80s Retro Medley 1 [Smash] As PAC-MAN, get a score of 7650 with his Final Smash.
Black Night [Classic Mode] Defeat Dracula.
The Light Realm: Prologue [Adventure] Win against Galeem.
The Light Realm: March [Adventure] Win against Galeem.
The Light Realm: Base [Adventure] Win against Galeem.
The Dark Realm [Adventure] Win against Dharkon.
The Dark Realm: The Mysterious Dimension [Adventure] Win against Dharkon.
The Final Battle [Adventure] Clear Adventure Mode.
The Final Battle: After the Transformation [Adventure] See the true ending.
Galeem [Adventure] Win against Galeem.
Dharkon [Adventure] Win against Dharkon.
Galeem/Dharkon [Adventure] See the true ending.
Main Theme Piano Solo [Adventure] See the true ending.
Vault [Other] Create a playlist in Sounds.
Final Destination Ver. 2 [Other] Have access to 750 or more music tracks in Sounds.

Certain music tracks can only be found inside chests in the overworld of World of Light.
