Making your opinions on Template:Langtable formal rules[edit]

Should I, or other person make all of your opinions about Template:Langtable official "rule" of it? I already added that the second name used in Japanese/Chinese/Korean rows on fighter pages indicating how UI show a character's name. --RosalinaHead.pngDaisyHead.pngRaffina H.-207PitHead.pngZeldaHead.png (talk) 06:39, July 9, 2020 (EDT)

I think we should discuss this on Discord or better yet, the template talk page prior. --Rdrfc (talk) 06:59, July 9, 2020 (EDT)

Image merger[edit]

I'm thinking all of the special move images you uploaded should be merged with gifs right now. Is it fine? Raffina Higashikata 207For my signature. 21:16, October 23, 2020 (EDT)

Regarding this[edit]

You would be absolutely correct here, if it weren't for the fact that Kazooie does gain a hurtbox, unlike most other intangible "tools," in some instances - specifically, her running animation and up tilt. If it weren't for those instances where she does become tangible, I wouldn't have so much as brought this up. Sincerely, Samuel the Banjo-Kazooie Boss. Well, intangibility in the hitbox viewer (and even in-game in Training Mode) is signaled by the character's hurtbox turning blue. In the case of Kazooie there is no hurtbox therefore no intangibility. I get why the situation is notable but to list this among true intangibility is just misleading. --Rdrfc (talk) 11:57, March 9, 2021 (EST)
Ah, I see where you're coming from. Saying "she has no hurtbox period" is just as misleading, however, hence the confusion. Sincerely, Samuel the Banjo-Kazooie Boss. Picture that will go next to my signature, a duplicate of Banjo & Kazooie's stock icon. 12:00, March 9, 2021 (EST)

Luigi's taunt[edit]

Did you not see that the move is described (and linked at the very least on the SSBU page)? It's rather pointless to add it to the table. It's better to just have the taunt section link to the move's page. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 13:53, July 16, 2021 (EDT)

Taunts were added to the moveset table template during its last restructuring for a reason. If redundancy is a concern, I'd rather remove any gameplay consideration from the taunt section and only describe the action plus possible references, while mentioning that it deals damage. --Rdrfc (talk) 14:16, July 16, 2021 (EDT)

Well I think the way it's done how I described is better overall, but that's just my opinion. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 21:14, July 16, 2021 (EDT)

Update info[edit]

All things considered, that's a pretty reasonable take. I'll make sure to not mention update-induced FS adjustments in subsequent edits. 72.184.7.232 16:42, July 16, 2021 (EDT)

Response[edit]

Hi, I left a response to your question on my page. RTV (talk) 22:43, August 17, 2021 (EDT)RTV

Australian smashers[edit]

May I ask why you removed Category:Australian smashers from 12 different pages? Each of those smashers are from Australia, so your actions don't really make any sense. I was going to revert them but then decided to just ask if you could explain yourself first. Thanks Black Vulpine the 🦊Furry🐺. Furries make the internets go! :3 07:37, December 17, 2021 (EST)

Because we have categories for their respective states, which are nested in the main Australian category. You'll notice I left categories such as "New South Wales smashers". This is how the categories for the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are already handled in the first place, or at least they are supposed to. Rdrfc (talk) 08:27, December 17, 2021 (EST)
