Haru Okumura (奥村 春, Okumura Haru) is a character that originates from Persona 5.

Origin

Haru is the daughter of Kunikazu Okumura, a wealthy yet selfish businessman and the fifth target of the Phantom Thieves. She is the heiress to her father's company Okumura Foods, which is suspected to be in violation of several health and safety policies and may be connected to the mental shutdowns that the Phantom Thieves are looking into the cause of. Haru wishes to have her father's heart changed so she can escape her arranged marriage. She meets Morgana at a time when he has run from the Phantom Thieves as a result of a disagreement and wants to help people by himself to prove his worth. Upon entering Okumura's Palace, however, Morgana is easily overpowered, and Haru, who awakens to her Persona but is unable to summon it, helps him escape. The two attempt to steal Kunikazu's Treasure on their own, but fail. Upon being confronted by the Phantom Thieves, Morgana brushes them off; however, Haru's lack of confidence shows very quickly, as she forgets the script she rehearsed with Morgana.

Later on, the Phantom Thieves save Haru from being raped by her fiancee, prompting her (and Morgana) to join the group proper. Upon reentering the Palace, Haru, upon realizing that her father intends only on selling her off politically, regardless of the fact that her fiancee intends on abusing her, awakens to her Persona proper, and, under the codename Noir, helps the group steal Kunikazu's treasure. Upon witnessing his confession live, however, Kunikazu suddenly shuts down and dies, and the Phantom Thieves, who were at the peak of their popularity, are blamed for his death. Her social link revolves around her struggles with now having to run the company and the general distrust she has of her employees.
