It's Past Your Bedtime! is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. This event is set on the Gamer stage, with 5-Volt existing as a stage hazard. The objective as the player controls Jigglypuff is to make Ness, Bowser Jr., and Toon Link fall asleep by using Sing; the event is completed when all three opponents are asleep at the same time. The opponents all stay asleep for far longer than in normal matches. Bowser Jr. appears to be more aggressive than Ness and Toon Link, as he will sometimes attack the player using any his four special moves, while the other two will generally just avoid the player. If any opponents reawaken, they must be put to sleep again.

This is one of two event matches in the game where players can't use customizations (the other being Kirby's Crazy Appetite), as Jigglypuff is required to have Sing to complete this event match.

Progression

This event is unlocked by clearing Playing Tricks. Completing the event does not unlock any additional paths.

Completing the event on hard difficulty awards a Thistle Jump X Defense equipment.

Trivia

  • Similar to how Yoshi must put Pikachu & Kirby in eggs at the same time with his neutral special in Event 12: Sleeping in the Eggs in Brawl, Jigglypuff must put Ness, Toon Link, & Bowser Jr. all to sleep at the same time using its up special.
    • Both characters of which have the fastest air speeds by default.
