Undertow is a Project+ and HewDraw Remix tournament series that is currently hosted in Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. It is an unofficial side event for Riptide, and was hosted due to Riptide receiving a cease and desist from Nintendo. Undertow itself has also been subject to legal threats, as Undertow 2025 was notably cancelled after similarly receiving a cease and desist, resulting in Big Ohio Tournament replacing Undertow that year.

Since then, it has become an important tournament for Project+, having consistently achieved triple digit entrant counts for almost every event in it's series, standing as one of the largest Project+ tournaments every year. Undertow 2021 was also notable for being the first major/supermajor for Project+ after the pandemic, and also stands the largest Project M tournament that had used Project+.
