RapMonster, alternatively RapM, is a Melee Luigi player from Virginia. Active since the early-2020s, he was considered a hidden boss in the MD/VA region during that time and had some respectable results, such as his performances in Supernova events and his victory at Xanadu Legends - The Last Hurrah. He broke out onto the national scene in 2025, with several strong regional performances before his breakout major performance at Get On My Level: Forever. Following additional strong performances throughout the year, such as at Supernova 2025, he made his global ranking debut at 28th on the SSBMRank 2025, becoming the highest-ranking Melee Luigi player at that time. The following year, he became a top 10 player with a rank of 7th on the SSBMRank Summer 2026. During this time, he upset Zain at GENESIS X3 in the midst of their feud and placed 2nd at both Pat's House 5 and Get On My Level 2026, becoming the first Melee Luigi player to make Grand Finals at a major. Due to his performances, he is considered the greatest Luigi player of all time.
Outside of Melee, RapMonster is also considered the best Luigi player of all-time in Project+, becoming the first Project+ Luigi player to win a major at Blacklisted 9: Blacklisted Forever, ranking 3rd on the PMRank 2025, and being in contention for the best Project+ player in the world in 2026, having the highest elo on PMRank as of August 9th, 2026.[1]
RapMonster also has a limited tenure in Ultimate, where he tends to compete in smaller, less prestigious regional tournaments, with occasional appearances at majors and superregionals. He has defeated players such as Meow!, Stretch, Aeris, Festive, and Alternis.
On June 21st, 2026, RapMonster announced he was sponsored by Roots: Atlantic Melee Gaming.

- After defeating Zain in an exhibition match at The Cashbox 3, RapMonster called out Zain for not voting for him for Nounsvitational Tokyo 2025. This call-out eventually led to a feud between the players in 2026, during which RapMonster defeated Zain in another exhibition at Bair Necessities and in a tournament set at GENESIS X3. They have since traded several sets.
