Hi, this is DrFault (デフォルト, Default) a Mega Man main who is also a self-proclaimed "Master of Variety". I've taken off games from Nairo and Loading... on For Glory!

Play style

In general play, I typically am a very aggressive player with most of my characters, mostly using simple combos out of throws to maximize damage. On For Glory, I typically start with either Mega Man, Mewtwo, Falcon, or Bowser to get a feel for what kind of player I am facing, and thus I enter one of three modes of play. If I run into really good players, or actual competitive players, I'll usually stick with those four characters I mentioned, and try to have a 100% serious match, which is what I find the most fun in Smash, but sometimes I just like to be a buffoon and just go low tiers and have fun with them and give them some matchup experience with the less-used characters in Smash. If I run into a player who just got the game and doesn't know what the B button does, I'll usually mess with them as low-tiers and try to go for really extravagant moves or finishers. If I run into a player who is literally the spawn of Satan himself, the kind that rolls to the side of the map and spams projectiles, or anyone who plays Cloud or Bayonetta, I will always switch to an annoying character like Sonic or Cloud himself and try to make my match with them as miserable for them as possible. I rarely do that though, I have to really be in a pissed off mood to be able to justify doing that.

Mega Man

I don't typically use extravagant traps or footstool combos. Instead I focus on aggressive play with pellets and the Metal Blade to set up for grabs. I practice footstool combos but I almost never use them in actual games. I liken my manner of gameplay closest to Kamemushi.

Dr. Mario

I usually go for simple combos to rack up damage, but once I get the opponent to higher percent, I'll go risk it all to either get them with a sweetspotted up-b, up smash at the ledge, or edgeguard them off-stage with down-b.

Bowser

Normally, I end up revolving around spacing with f-air and punishing basically anything in front of me with a grab or grounded up-b. I usually don't go for up throw to up air confirms, instead going for up throw to back air at the ledge which can kill even earlier. I also like to get a bit crazy with it and try to go for down-b airdodge reads after an up throw to kill earlier as well. I also use the down-b to the ledge from the air a lot to make landing easier, but I'm not the best at it and sometimes I accidentally kill myself trying to go for it.

King Dedede

Dedede is the one character I like to style with at all times. I go for footstool combos at very early percents as much as I can, and set up Gordo ledge traps pretty much every time I get someone off stage.
