Overview[edit]
Ganondorf forcefully stomps down with both feet, with electric properties. The move has two hitboxes: an extremely powerful meteor smash on the legs, and a weaker but still relatively powerful sourspot on the chest and head that sends at the Sakurai angle. Although slow, the sweetspot meteor smash is the strongest in the game and can KO offstage opponents at very low percentages, while the sourspot is still powerful enough to KO earlier than forward and back aerials. On the ground, hitting opponents with the sweetspot sends them flying upwards and can KO Mario on Final Destination at 120%. It is one of the only two meteor smashes in the game that cannot be teched from a standing position due to its electric properties, the other being Pikachu's Thunder.
