Votes for Shulk
- Smash Bros already has enough Fire Emblem characters and Lucina is nothing but a female Marth. ZeldaStarfoxfan2164 (talk) is made in America 17:44, 5 August 2017 (EDT)
- I simply find Shulk superior in so many ways. Both him and Lucina stopped a terrible fate, yes, but Shulk did it in a more godlike way (literally, but that's spoilers). You also feel more powerful overall when using Shulk in his series, with everything the Monado can do and Xenoblade's more action-based gameplay. Lastly, he brought a very creative character design to SSB4 (and you know, being good in competitive play is NOT EVERYTHING that makes a character worth), and one of my favorite up to this day. On the other hand, Lucina just... disguised after someone else and that's all. Smash doesn't help her case: her moveset is completely generic (Marth has a great mechanic going for him to make him interesting... yet Lucina specifically doesn't have that at all) and her playstyle is braindead to the point I know even people who like Lucina in her games that despise her SSB4 portrayal. - Per Draco, basically. Shulk is one of the most mechanically interesting characters; Lucina is the opposite of that. Zyrac(talk•contribs) 18:11, 6 August 2017 (EDT)

- Shulk, Riki, and Dunban from Xenoblade Chronicles! A great trio Dragonfirebreath25 (talk) 17:20, 7 August 2017 (EDT)
- I really hate Lucina, so this is an automatic vote. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 18:58, 7 August 2017 (EDT)

- Because Shulk is an original character, and Lucina is Marth but easier. Since the point or Marth (pun intended) is that he's tricky, why make him easier? 75.141.57.33 10:55, 14 August 2017 (EDT)
- Go Shulk, he's the best! He's the monado's power!
- Finally, a new swordsman IP that has a really cool personality from a really creative and interesting IP, Shulk also has a more intriguing and fun moveset, compared to Lucina,, who in most situations is a nerfed Marth,. I'll be honest, Lucina is obviously the better character on the tier list, which is a real shame because Shulk has potential (Quoting ZeRo by the way). Unfortunately there is a a complete underrepresentation of this awesome character though, and I'd do anything I could to push him up to the level of popularity he deserves! - If this was MARTH vs. Shulk, then I would be in the former's favor. But Lucina does not have anything really beneficial about her, and I'm a boy, so go, Shulk. Iron Gladiator (talk) 09:39, 19 August 2017 (EDT)
- I'M REALLY SMASHING IT! Did I say that right? Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the Internets go! :3 09:44, 20 August 2017 (EDT)
- Xenoblade was fun, and Shulk is a bit more interesting to play as. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 08:15, 24 August 2017 (EDT)

How long do we wait for new Smash Arena rounds? It's been two weeks already. ZeldaStarfoxfan2164 (talk) is bad for me 23:52, 19 August 2017 (EDT)
- I've been having internet problems lately. Normally, I might just try updating at a weird time or in a strange way to get around it, but in case you forgot (and who would blame you), next round is a big one and needs to be done properly. - Oh I see, the next one is a milestone so it must have five matches. ZeldaStarfoxfan2164 (talk) is made in America 11:02, 20 August 2017 (EDT)
