Dark Link Duel is the 18th solo event match out of a total of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In this match, Link must face-off against Dark Link on the Bridge of Eldin stage (with King Bulblin removed). The event is very similar to the identically numbered Link's Adventure event match in Super Smash Bros. Melee; however, rather than using the standard percentage-based damage meter, the battle is fought using stamina.
Unlockables
Clearing this event on Hard difficulty unlocks a CD containing the Hidden Mountain & Forest music track.

Trivia
- A Co-op event, Battle of the Dark Sides, is used in the same concept, but instead, the players are as Link and Samus, pitted against Dark Link and Dark Samus. However, the events are on the same stage with the same music, and share very similar Japanese names.
- Doppelgänger Duel in Smash 4 is a similar event to Dark Link Duel except that it consists of Pit and Dark Pit and the player plays the Dark character instead.
