A Screw Attack (スクリューアタック, Sukuryu Atakku) has the ability to change the first and second jumps into an attack. With Jigglypuff and Kirby, only the first two jumps are affected. If thrown at an enemy, they will be knocked upwards in a Screw Attack, dragging any nearby opponents (even the thrower) into the attack. They then fall down as if they had used a recovery move. Many players use this in a sort of Pseudo-combo with a constantly damaging Up-B attack, most notably Samus' Up- B of the same name.

 • When jumping, it does 8% damage.
 • When thrown, it does between 20-24% damage.
