Kagaribi is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament series held in Kantō. It began during the COVID-19 pandemic in December 2020, and as such, some of the series' early events (namely, Kagaribi 1.5 and 2) were cancelled. The series resumed with Kagaribi 3, which became the first major event since the pandemic began, and the series gradually grew in to become the most prestigious tournament series in Japan in the post-pandemic metagame. The series' events regularly reach their entrants cap within minutes of general registration opening; as such, initial registration is often limited to top players, with general registration being opened a few weeks later. Talent-wise, the series features not only most of Japan's best players, but also many strong international invaders, especially during its Golden Week events, making it one of the few Japanese tournament series to regularly feature international talent.

Several events in the series are ranked amongst the largest Ultimate events of all time. The current largest event in the series is Kagaribi 13, which featured 2,548 entrants.
