Plus, I feel sorry for how they're being used. Unlike the troopas, who are obviously just stupid or something to keep coming back for more anyway. 18:20, 20 February 2012 (EST)
  6. I feel bad for these guys. 11:03, 21 February 2012 (EST)
  7. Er, what ROB Squad votes #1 and #5 said. Plus, while ROB Squad members can be obstacles at times, they're not nearly as annoying as the nefarious Koopa Troopa nuisances. Although admittedly, the Koopa Troopa are quite fun to jump on, what with their shells whizzing about this way and that and slamming into other foes. And the names of both of these groups are fun/awesome to say aloud. XD 15:49, 23 February 2012 (EST)

A very awesome fighter who also wields TEH FIRE and bravely carries Roy's legacy onward (and hopefully, Ike and Roy will fight alongside each other and Marth in SSB4). Opposing arguments are clearly irrelevant. 15:00, 1 March 2012 (EST)

Half votes[edit]

  1. Ike is a much stronger fighter. He does more damage, has more knockback, is much more sturdy and less likely to get knocked off, thereby giving him more survivability and more lethality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 04:03, 29 February 2012

Heh-heh, Brawl Taunts reference? Nice choice of a poll/fight, although it would have been nice if Pokémon Trainer (Red) was included as well, since his friends fight for him as well (more-so, since Pokémon Trainer never actually receives damage himself during a fight, unlike Olimar who is subject to direct damage and has to physically be in the battlefield "fighting area"). 15:00, 1 March 2012 (EST)

Round 128: Motion-Sensor Bomb vs. Gooey Bomb[edit]

Motion-Sensor Bomb

20 to 8.5
They both stick to terrain and explode, but one is stronger and has a three-game history (not including its original existance in the good ol' days of Rareware), while the other is on a timer and will happily stick to people as they scramble around looking for a tag. Which proximity detonation device has the bigger upside?

Votes for Motion-Sensor Bomb[edit]

  5. Really? Comparing Kirby's nut with this? These things are badass. With the Gooey Bomb all you do is dodge all around randomly and you're safe, but with Motion Sensor Bombs, you don't even need its explosion to kill people, you can just throw the thing at them. Being the 128th round, you'd think there'd be something special, something Melee-related - since the 64th round was all of the SSB64 characters, I was expecting this one to be all of the Melee characters. Votes for Lottery[edit]

  1. "Got it!" I'm a Melee guy, + it's easier to get a trophy w/lottery. Insert coins, please. MeleeMarth01MM01Sig.png 18:34, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  2. >Sees a large barrage of missiles< Aww, what's the point. >quits< Yeah, coins were harder to get in Melee, but when you did get them, it's nice to sit back and receive the benefits. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 18:49, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  3. Don't have to play a shooter minigame to get a trophy, you just put in some coins and you get a trophy. 20:10, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  4. The Lottery is way better; you have a much higher chance of getting a trophy that you don't have. The Coin Shooter, on the other hand; you are likely to waste all your coins before you finally see a trophy/sticker that you don't have. RickTommy (talk) 23:35, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  5. 23:50, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  6. I would have chosen the coin launcher, if not for the fact it doesn't have any new trophy/sticker guarantee, while the lottery does. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 04:08, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
  7. I do like coin laucher but it gets too stressful and anoying, especially with the invincible barriers. As Omega Tryant said, the lottery guarantees a new trophy (for the most part). LightningBlue: Music is Power 13:06, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
  8. Don't feel like playing a minigame for the collectables. 11:05, 19 March 2012 (EDT)
  9. I guess I like to vote for the underdog. But in all honesty, I like this one better. 11:02, 21 March 2012 (EDT)
  10. Ill vote for this one becuase there is no holes where youre coins are dropped into and are wasted.--Arcwarioman (talk) 15:53, 22 March 2012 (EDT)

Votes for Coin Launcher[edit]

  1. I'm a sucker for shmup games of any type. --- ReiDemon, Author Extraordinaire, 18:57, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  2. I'm kind of neutral, but I'll vote this one because it's more engaging. 123JamesHeart PatheticStickFigure.jpg 19:20, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  3. OMG gunna randomly shoot flying ayroplayns! and get cool trofees! 19:25, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  4. "coin launchers is fun especially wend you have a lot of coins to spent. but coin slot can only spent 20 coin which is bad if a lot of coins."Smash X 5432 (talk) 20:16, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  5. You could get both trophies and stickers from this, and it was kind of fun so I vote this. 20:51, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  6. An easier way to get Trophies and stickers. ..... The Hydralisk NintenNESsprite.png 20:53, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  7. I gotta come up with more original reasons for voting the way I do. The old "I played Brawl, not Melee" standby is starting to get stale. 20:59, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  8. Lottery is boring. 23:15, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
  9. Coin Launcher is harder, but lasts longer. It was way too easy to get all the lottery trophies in Melee. --Fireemblemlogo.pngFan275 00:11, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
  10. I've spent much more time on Coin Launcher in 1 day than I did in years on Lottery. Smash Master 00:16, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
  11. Coin Launcher is an actual game. AccoolX AC.png 09:17, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
  12. I'm voting for the fun little minigame. That and I never played Melee. (I do hope to someday, though.) 09:38, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
  13. ..though pretty random, it has a certain amount of strategy to it.. plus I like being able to choose whether I want stickers or trophies. 20:42, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
  14. Better way for me to waste my over 9000 coins on. Even if you don't have a 100% chance of getting new trophies and stuff, you still can, and it's a more fun way of doing so.Vincent Transcendant Kirby-1.png 16:34, 19 March 2012 (EDT)
  15. This is more fun than the lottery, especially if I have 9999 coins. Floor2000x (talk) 19:06, 22 March 2012 (EDT)
  16. Much more interactive/engaging than the Lottery, and a good way to use up Coins accumulated from other game modes. It's also a great way to use up time (moreso than the Lottery, which was OK in its own right). The downside is that it can sometimes be difficult to acquire new Trophies and Stickers as collectibles... 13:40, 23 March 2012 (EDT)
  17. I don't know how good the slots are, for I don't have melee, but I know that the coin launcher is awesome. MILK! (talk) 17:16, 23 March 2012 (EDT) 3:15PM central america, March 23, 2012

Half votes[edit]

  1. I've never played Melee that much, so I never experienced Lottery, so there would be no choice in choosing. Also, it makes getting collectibles less aggravating.King KirbyD (talk) 20:58, 21 March 2012 (EDT)
