Unown (アンノーン, Annōn, Unknown in original Japanese language versions) is a fictional swarming creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Creature description

Unown does not have one appearance but multiple appearances. The two things that all the Unowns have in common is that they are all black and they have one eye. There are a total of 26 different Unowns in Super Smash Brothers Melee. Each of the Unowns represent a letter of the alphabet. The Unowns can be identified if the player pays attention to the ones that come out of a Poké Ball. Since Melee's creation, a ! and a ?
